2008 started off better than 2007. For a start we had a full 12 months to achieve something, however when Spring broke through the clouds so did the weeds...and the rhubarb!
Weeding in columns: without enough black plastic to cover each area, battling the weeds became increasingly difficult and repetitive
Planted an area here with beans and cabbages (covered by fleece). This same year in July we had lots of unexpected rainfall and all produce was washed away towards the green shed (back right)
Its a start of the fruit cage/area with newly planted Raspberry canes provided by my father (lawn behind).
This was my first attempt at a pond..we've had two more since!

This was before the rain yet 6 weeks after the picture further up was taken - weeds grow very quickly in Spring and Summer!!!!
Did manage to erect a shed and tidy that area along with compost bins made from pallets, version 1.
Tidy shed, my husband adapted the shed in the last 12 months for his own belongings, needless to say it doesn't look like this any more, or anything remotely like it actually!
