Quite a stunner isn't he, Mr Raspberry - our first early AUTUMN raspberry of the year!
Unfortunately age is upon us/my husband and we've forgotten to photograph this years strawberries so here is a shot from a couple of weeks ago when we decided to risk it and dig up some new potatoes... you can also see half of our gooseberry harvest in amongst the punnet of alpine strawberries, which although look pathetic are producing abundant supplies - Freddy (Tortoise) is especially happy about that!
Potatoes have succumbed to blight in most areas due to the ongoing damp and humid conditions, early harvests generally have been quite poor.
