Forget me not flowers are special, they usually appear before anything else in the summer garden's perennial beds and brings bright hope for the seasons ahead...well that's how I feel about them! Since childhood I've enjoyed seeking them out to look at their pretty vibrant flowers and collect a small bunch to sit in a shot glass on the table. This year is different:
This year we have a hybrid - PINK forget me not! Apologies for the shocking picture, my phone wouldn't allow me to take another Macro shot that day. I thought they were dying back to the pink colour but found this one had just opened its petals. After a little Google research it is common for wild forget me nots to grow in a mixture of white, pink and blue.
