Not a great picture of the frogspawn but wonderful news for us, better pictures may follow hopefully. We've been watching them for the last two weeks, at some point last week a fungus has developed on the tadpoles closest to the top (out of water) which is a bad sign - perhaps too much shade is being cast over the pond from the oak tree.
We separated some of the spawn into a bucket and have placed next to a young spaghetti Squash, away from the tree. Although we're not optimistic for this year's froglets we have a plan for next years arrivals. Mr/Mrs Adult Frog seems happy though and pops out from hiding place to say hello.
